JAKARTA - Candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka said again about distributing milk at the car free day (CFD) activity roundabout Hotel Indonesia (HI) recently not related to political campaign activities.

Gibran conveyed this clarification when he fulfilled the summons of the Central Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) today.

"Today we fulfilled the invitation call from the Central Jakarta Bawaslu. We have explained in that last December 3 activities at the Jakarta car free day did not have any political party activities at all. That's all," said Gibran after being clarified at the Central Jakarta Bawaslu office, January 3.

Gibran emphasized that there were no findings of new violations as claimed by the Central Jakarta Bawaslu. In fact, he said, these activities were also escorted by media crews.

"Nothing, nothing. Nothing. There is no political activity at all. I also invited my friends yesterday," he continued.

Previously, the Coordinator of the Central Jakarta Bawaslu information and violation division, Dimas Trianto Putro, said that the summons for clarification against Gibran was due to new facts and findings that were still kept secret regarding this matter.

"The facts and new findings exist, yesterday I was in the press conference, I suggest there are new facts and findings so we need to invite Mr. Gibran for clarification," said Dimas at the Central Jakarta Bawaslu Office, Tuesday, January 2.
