PDIP Considers Zulkieflimansyah's Statement That The Ganjar Survey Is Only 9 Percent In NTB Ngawur

Deputy Chairperson of the West Nusa Tenggara PDI-P (PDIP) DPD, Ruslan Turmudzi, assessed that the comments of the former NTB Governor, Zulkieflimasnyah, stated that the survey results of Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD's presidential candidate pair were only 9 percent in the region as information inconsequential and irrational.

"If we assume that using 2019 data there are two pairs of candidates, namely Jokowi and Prabowo, with Prabowo's victory at that time. Then the results of the current survey Prabowo are 53 percent, that means Prabowo has never been in NTB, so what Zulkieflimansyah said is irrational and inconsequential, so it is questionable because the basis is unclear," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2.

Ruslan admitted that when PDIP brought Jokowi in the 2014 and 2019 elections, Jokowi never won in NTB, because at that time the people of NTB did not accept Jokowi.

However, in the 2024 presidential election, Prabowo collaborated with President Jokowi's son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a vice presidential candidate, so he was of the view that Prabowo's voice would also have the same fate as Jokowi, who had to lose in NTB.

"Today Prabowo is paired with Jokowi's son. Is there no change in the mindset of our society. Of course this will be our evaluation, so that if we work, our target must exceed the target of the 2019 presidential election," explained the chairman of the PDIP faction at the NTB DPRD.

According to him, the people of NTB already understand the current national political dynamics related to the number two pair, so that people are already thinking rationally.

"If we look at the track record of candidates, Ganjar-Mahfud is more capable, even Mr. Mahfud is the only one with the title of professor, so that the people of NTB are not blind to see," he said.

Apart from being inconsequential and irrational, his party assessed that what Zulkieflimansyah said when he was present at the NWDI activity, he did not consider the role of Mr. Guru Bajang (TGB) Muhammad Zainul Majdi as Deputy Chair of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN). In fact, TGB itself is a former Governor of NTB for two periods and has a big influence in NTB.

"This means that TGB's character is not considered by Zulkieflimansyah in NTB. When TGB becomes Deputy Chair of TPN, it means that there is no influence, so it is also necessary to question the results of the Ganjar-Mahfud survey," he said.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the TPD Ganjar-Mahfud, Muzihir, considers the former NTB Governor's comments relaxed. Because according to him, this statement is a common thing, especially when Zulkieflimansyah is a PKS cadre whose incidentally carrying the presidential candidate pair number one Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or Amin.

"It's okay, his name also strengthens the choice (Amin) but in fact, the PKS option submitted by the survey results is only 19 percent," he said.

However, Muzihir questioned the results of the survey submitted by Zulkieflimansyah. Is it really the survey results or is it just comments that have no basis.

"Indeed, I don't see directly, whether it's just talking or survey results. Is it a true survey or fake surveys. I don't know exactly, especially since it's 6,000 respondents who were surveyed, whether it's only in Mataram or Bima. But this survey can also be successful, accurate if it can represent all regencies and cities in NTB. But it really represents all levels of society," he said.

A politician from the Democratic Party who is also the chairman of the Democratic Party faction of the NTB DPRD, Direction H. Abidin, admitted that he was grateful for Zulkieflimansyah's statement. Because it further strengthens the ranks to win Prabowo-Gibran in NTB.

"We are grateful, especially the Democratic Party as the party that supports Prabowo Gibran. Moreover, this was conveyed by Amin's camp, the main PKS cadre, so it is more trusted. So it is more objective and what it is. If our people tell it, there may be questions from other people. So TKN and TKD work is good," he said.
