Puan Asks The Police To Keep The Year-substitution Smooth

JAKARTA - The National Police and the government are asked to maintain smoothness and security at the momentum of the new year's turn 2023 to 2024.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani. "The central and regional governments and the police must be able to ensure that the moment of the New Year runs smoothly for the community," he said, quoting Antara.

He also asked local governments to cooperate with security forces to anticipate crowds on New Year's Eve. Not only that, he also asked the entire government to consistently monitor a number of tourist destinations.

"Happy holidays and gathering with family and loved ones. Make sure to go and return home in a safe condition," he ordered.

This was conveyed by Puan regarding the high mobilization ahead of the New Year's Eve. This effort is crucial in order to create security as well as comfort for the community during the 2023 Christmas backflow and the 2024 New Year homecoming flow.

"Make sure the smooth flow is for the return flow of Christmas 2023, and the flow of the second homecoming ahead of the turn of the year. The community's high mobility must be a concern for the government and related parties," he asserted.

According to him, many people also take advantage of public transportation during the holiday season. So that the Ministry of Transportation and service operators at airports, toll roads, terminals, train stations, and ports must continue to be on standby and provide the best service.
