Makassar City Government Will Increase Incentives For RT/RW Chairs To IDR 1.25 Million Starting In 2024

Makassar City Government (Pemkot), South Sulawesi (Sulsel) will increase incentives from the heads of RT/RW Rp200-250 thousand in 2024, bringing the total to Rp1.25 million in accordance with the approval of the Makassar DPRD.

Makassar Mayor Moh Ramdhan Pomanto said the plan to increase incentives for the heads of the Neighborhood Association (RT/RW) after the local Regional Original Revenue (PAD) increased from Rp1 trillion to Rp1.5 trillion.

"The happy news for all RT/RW throughout Makassar City, in accordance with my promise, will increase incentives for RT/RW if the Makassar City PAD increases. Previously, the Head of the Makassar Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) Helmy Budiman said an increase of IDR 200 thousand would be carried out in 2024.
