LSI Denny JA Survey: Prabowo-Gibran's Electability Rises, Anies-Imin Overtakes Ganjar-Mahfud

JAKARTA - The results of the latest survey by LSI Denny JA have again placed the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the top position. Prabowo-Gibran's electability rose after the debate of the presidential and vice presidential candidates

Now, from the results of the 2024 presidential election survey conducted by LSI Denny JA on 17 to 23 December 2023, Prabowo-Gibran's electability was at 43.3 percent. While candidate pair number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar managed to overtake candidate pair number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

"Prabowo-Gibran is in the top position with an electability of 43.3 percent. Second position, Anies-Muhaimin with an electability of 25.3 percent. Third position, Ganjar-Mahfud with 22.9 percent," said the Director of KCI LSI Denny JA, Adjie Al Faraby, in a statement released on Friday, December 29.

"A magnitude of 7.9 percent stated that they had not decided or were confidential or did not know/did not answer," he continued.

Adjie explained that Prabowo-Gibran's electability trend was rising so that his struggle was to win one round. Meanwhile, Anies-Imin and Ganjar-Mahfud are thin, so their struggle is to get rid of each other to qualify in the second round.

Adjie said, there are three developments that will be recorded in the remaining 47 days before the presidential election on February 14. First, Prabowo-Gibran is stable beyond 40 percent.

In LSI Denny JA's notes, Prabowo-Gibran's electability in early November 2023 was 40.3 percent. Then at the end of November 2023, Prabowo-Gibran's electability was controlled to 42.9 percent.

"In early December 2023, the electability was still above 40 percent, namely 41.2 percent. Now at the end of December 2023 it remains above 40 percent, to be precise at 43.3 percent," he explained.

Second, Ganjar-Mahfud's electability has fallen and is increasingly stable below 27 percent. In September 2023, the couple's electability was still at 37.9 percent. However, entering the end of November 2023, it fell to 24.9 percent.

"In early December it rose to 26.8 percent. At the end of December 2023, electability was 22.9 percent," continued Adjie. Third, Anies-Muhaimin's electability was stable, even now exceeding Ganjar-Mahfud's electability. In October 2023, Anies-Imin's electability was only 15 percent. But at the end of November 2023, the electability of AMIN pairs skyrocketed to 24 percent.

"Then in early December 2023 it became 23.8 percent, and at the end of December it rose again to 25.3 percent," said Adjie. "Finally December 2023, this is the first time Anies-Muhaimin's electability has exceeded Ganjar-Mahfud's electability," he concluded.
