TANGERANG Enjoying the Christmas and New Year 2024 holidays is a moment that many people want. Going to a place with your family to enjoy the scenery while eating a special dish, of course, is highly expected. But not everyone can get that opportunity.

One of them is Bima. The inter-city inter-island (AKAP) bus conductor admitted that he could not enjoy the long year-end holidays, like people in general. This is because his work in the field of public transportation makes him always busy serving passengers who want to travel out of town. Moreover, during this Christmas and New Year holidays, many people return home by bus.

The bus conductor AKAP Tangerang-Surabaya is willing to leave his family in Solo, Central Java for work. Because, apart from demands for work, Bima's busy schedule as a bus conductor is the focus so that he can support his family.

Bima said that he could meet his family every two months. The rest can only meet face to face through video calls.

"It's been once every 2 months. After missing it, I have a video call. As a longing releaser," said Bima when met by VOI at Poris Plawad, Tangerang City, Friday, December 29.

Bima admits that he misses his wife and children. Especially with his 2-year-old son. However, the 23-year-old man remains committed, he chose to work in the midst of the Christmas and New Year holidays. Yes, that's the way Bima chooses.

"Certainly mas, miss. But how about it, the child is still that old. Moreover, still 2 years old, he will miss it. Children like to ask where the father is. Just let go of missing via video calls," concluded Bima.

"It's been 2 years of work. What makes me survive, the boss cares about his subordinates. What makes you feel at home there (the company)," he concluded.
