Kaesang Optimistic Prabowo-Gibran Wins In NTB

Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep is optimistic that presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto - Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be able to win in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) in the 2024 presidential election.

"I came to win Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran in NTB," he said after the Regional Land Coffee (Kopdarwil) DPW PSI NTB in Mataram City, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 28.

According to him, in the two presidential elections in 2014 and 2019, Prabowo has always been the winner in NTB. Therefore, in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, he believes Prabowo and Gibran will win in the region.

"In NTB Prabowo always wins. I'm sure this time Prabowo won again," said Kaesang.

In addition to winning in NTB, President Jokowi's second son is also optimistic that Prabowo-Gibran will also win in one round.

"I'm sure I can win one round," he said.

Previously in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections, the name Prabowo Subianto always excelled in NTB rather than the presidential candidate at that time Joko Widodo.

In 2014, Prabowo, who was paired with Hatta Rajasa, received 72.45 percent of the vote, beating Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla who won 27.55 percent of the vote.

Prabowo's victory in NTB was repeated in the 2019 presidential election. At that time, he was paired with Sandiaga Uno to win 67.89 percent of the votes, while Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin collected 32.11 percent of the votes.
