Ganjar Absorbs Public Complaints: Difficulty Finding Work, Expensive Food Prices To Corruption

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo mentioned three important things that he always gets when he hears the aspirations of the community for 30 days campaigning.

"There are three important things that I always listen to in the community. One, Pak Ganjar, looking for difficult work, looking for difficult work," said Ganjar when giving a speech at the gathering with exponents, alumnus, and activists of the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI) in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 28.

"In Bekasi, I went down, the community said, sir, we just have to pay, 3 million to 8 million just to become employees," said Ganjar, imitating the words of the residents.

He then explained that the second public complaint was the request to control the prices of basic necessities.

"Today the rice is not able to be self-sufficient. Today the production of garlic is running low and imports are getting thickened. On this day, our vast sea cannot be carried out at all, it must be boosted properly, the improvement (increase) is carried out continuously, but acceleration of fast movement that is not in the same set, this is what we hope for," he said explaining the current condition of the need for basic commodities.

The former governor of Central Java for two periods then explained that the third point was the request for a clean and anti-corruption government.

"Third, the problem is a clean and anti-corruption government. This is a high value. I ask the businessmen if we provide legal certainty, you are in fear?" said Ganjar.

Ganjar continued, "No sir, no sir, we need certainty. So, please us, entrepreneurs who have participated in the tax amnesty, don't get drunk. Please, please, if we invest, give convenience."

He said the third point was the aspiration of entrepreneurs who asked to be made easier in investing. According to Ganjar, entrepreneurs want to be helped, not complicated, extortion, or corrupted.

"So, ladies and gentlemen, we tour throughout Indonesia. I will tell you this, it's a big homework. Whoever wins tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen, it's not as easy as we imagined," said Ganjar.
