JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin decided not to continue the legal process against the Attorney General's website hackers. The reason is that the perpetrator is still a minor.

The hacking of the website of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) was only discovered on February 17. This was revealed after there was information on the sale of the AGO's database on the website https://raidforums.com/.

"The Attorney General has given MFW a policy that there is no legal process at this time," said the Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak to reporters, Friday, February 19.

Another reason that the Attorney General did not proceed with the legal process was because the perpetrator was still a student. Moreover, the parents of the perpetrators have written an apology.

"And the parents concerned have also made a statement letter that will directly educate and control the child not to do hacking as it happened," said Leonard.

Meanwhile, regarding the search for the AGO website hack, Leonard said that the total traded database was 500 megabits with a total line database of 3,086,224. The data is sold for 8 credits, or around Rp. 400 thousand.
