JAKARTA - The National Team for Winning Anies-Muhaimin (Timnas AMIN) expressed his concern because he felt he was not treated fairly during the election stages.
In fact, the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 feels that election organizers and the government prefer the treatment of presidential and vice presidential candidates number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
The head of the National Legal Team (THN) of the AMIN National Team, Ari Yusuf Amir, gave an example of a number of cases of alleged election violations handled by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu).
According to Ari, the majority of mass reports on alleged violations by the Prabowo-Gibran camp were not followed up.
"Bawaslu as the Election Supervisory Agency in several cases is one-sided," Ari said at a press conference at the AMIN Winning House, Central Jakarta, Thursday, December 28.
Ari explained that Bawaslu did not follow up on reports of alleged violations of the 02 camp on the grounds of a lack of material evidence. In fact, the report was submitted with complete evidence.
"On the other hand, there are reports that are not classified as violations, they are processed, as reported by Pantun Cak Imin," said Ari.
Cak Imin was reported for conveying a rhyme during the draw for candidate pair serial numbers at the KPU on November 23, 2023. Cak Imin was reported to Bawaslu because he was considered to have carried out a campaign before his time.
Bawaslu followed up on the report, before finally deciding that the alleged violation of Cak Imin's rhyme was not proven.
"Why did Bawaslu process the report, which in fact was not a violation by referring to the Election Law and PKPU 15/2023. In addition, this report was only accompanied by one video evidence and one witness who was not a fact witness but was processed immediately," said Ari.

On the other hand, Ari gave an example of the different treatment of Bawaslu for the report that dragged Prabowo-Gibran's camp. There were three reports of alleged election violations by Gibran that were reported to Bawaslu.
Among them are reports of Gibran's presence at village equipment forum events, activities to distribute milk in the Sudirman-Thamrin car free day (CFD) area, as well as suspected campaigns at educational places.
"Bawaslu stated that the village apparatus was proven proven to have committed a violation and a warning was given. However, Gibran was not given sanctions," explained Ari.
"Regarding Gibran's report distributing milk at CFD, Bawaslu has not followed up without reason. So far, Bawaslu has not followed up on alleged campaign violations at educational places," he added.
On that basis, Ari urged the holding of elections such as KPU, Bawaslu, and DKPP to carry out their duties in a neutral, implicit and professional manner.
In addition, he also demands state apparatus to maintain their neutrality in holding elections and abandon intimidating and unethical political practices.
