NTB Police Are Still Examining Witnesses In The FEC Fraudulent Investment Case

NTB - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police (Polda) confirmed a case of alleged fraudulent investment fraud in Future E-Comerce (FEC) which caused many victims to become "homework" (PR) in 2024.

"Yes, so for the FEC case, until now we are still investigating," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police Kombes Pol Nasrun Pasaribu in Mataram, NTB, Thursday, December 28, confiscated by Antara.

The investigators are still trying to strengthen evidence from the victim's statement and experts to complete it immediately.

This effort, he said, was to determine the role of the suspect who would be responsible for the fraud case with the investment mode.

The NTB Regional Police through Sub-Directorate II for Banking Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an investigation based on 13 reports of complaints from residents claiming to be victims.

In tracing unlawful acts in this case, investigators involved the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to reconstruct banking financial transactions.

The police also asked for information from criminal experts. The goal is to see legal relations in the complaint report which leads to the alleged criminal act of fraud and embezzlement.
