The KPK Council revealed the reason why the inactive KPK chairman Firli Bahuri did not report foreign currency (foreign currency) worth Rp. 7.5 billion and rented an elite house in Kertanegara to the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).

Firli Bahuri was declared legally and proven to have violated the code of ethics and will be given severe sanctions in the form of resignation.

"Imposing severe sanctions to the Examined (Firli Bahuri) in the form of being asked to submit his resignation as chairman of the KPK," said the chairman of the KPK Council, Tumpak Hatorangan.

As for the 3 violations committed by Firli Bahuri, namely related to the meeting with Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, which other KPK leaders did not report, did not tell the truth about the report at the LHKPN regarding Valas and finally related to the rental of elite houses in Kertanegara, South Jakarta.
