Monas Park, Favorite Tourist Place For Locals And Tourists During Christmas And New Year's Holidays

JAKARTA - The National Monument Park (Monas) area is still the prima donna of tourist destinations for a number of people in Jakarta and foreign nationals (WNA). During the Christmas and New Year holidays, the Monas tourist area continues to be visited by thousands of visitors.

"Today there are a total of 4,486 visitors who came to Monas Park," said the Head of the Monas Regional Management Unit (UPK), Muhammad Isa Sanuri when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, December 27, afternoon.

The data is based on UPK Monas records since Wednesday, December 27, from 12.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB. Of the 4,486 visitors, 3,135 were adult visitors and 1,292 children.

"59 other visitors are foreigners or foreign tourists (Wisman)," he said.

Meanwhile, 59 foreign tourists came from 11 Chinese citizens, 4 from Poland, 2 from Spain, 4 from Korea, 15 from Japan, 7 from the Netherlands, 5 from Belgium, 4 from Germany, 1 from England, 3 from Brazil and 3 from Switzerland.
