Police Deploy Tracking Dogs Sterile The Location Of The Vice Presidential Debate

JAKARTA - The police deployed a Tracking Dog Unit (K-9) in an operation to sterilize the location of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) debate which will be held tonight at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta.

Ahead of the debate at the location, personnel from the Gegana Brimob Team began to hold sterilization in "Ring 1" and around the building area with 10 sniffer dogs in Jakarta, Friday.

As reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 22, it was also seen that dozens of trail motorbike troops from the National Police carried out patrols around the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area to ensure security outside the JCC building.

As of 15.45 WIB, dozens of fully uniformed police officers have also guarded the entrance and access to vehicles and people to the JCC building where the vice presidential debate was held.

Not only that, at the entrance to the JCC where the debate was held, a guardrail was installed and closely guarded by the joint TNI-POLRI who checked the luggage of both guests and media crews covering the running of the vice presidential debate.

This vice presidential debate will be secured as many as 2,464 personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya with details of these personnel consisting of 166 personnel from the Task Force, 298 Task Force Resort (Satgasres). Then, the rest are personnel from the Regional Task Force (Satgasda), namely 2,000 personnel.

In addition, the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has prepared traffic flow engineering (traffic) ahead of the debate on the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta, Friday.

Director of Traffic Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman explained that traffic engineering was carried out at two points, namely, traffic flow from Jalan Gatot Subroto which will go to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda is directed straight to Slipi.

Meanwhile, the traffic flow from the direction of Slipi is directed straight towards Semanggi, no one goes to Ladokgi Flyover towards Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.
