For The Third Time, Firli Bahuri Did Not Fulfill The Call Of The KPK Council

JAKARTA - The inactive KPK chairman Firli Bahuri is again absent for the third time in the Corruption Eradication Commission (Dewas KPK) code of ethics trial.

This was confirmed by a member of the KPK Council, Albertina Ho at the ACLC KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

"Earlier (Firli Bahuri) did not come," he said, Thursday, December 21.

Firli Bahuri was previously scheduled to undergo trial on December 14 regarding the alleged violation of the code of ethics he committed when he served as chairman of the KPK.

However, Firli asked the KPK Council to postpone the code of ethics trial on December 20 on the grounds that he wanted to focus on the Pretrial hearing at the South Jakarta District Court (PN).

On December 20, Firli was also not present. As for the code of ethics trial at that time, the KPK Council examined 12 witnesses including 4 KPK leaders including KPK Deputy chairman Alexander Marwata, KPK interim chairman Nawawi Pomolango and former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

Then today Firli again did not fulfill the summons of the KPK Council. Today's examination of witnesses, said Albertina, came from the Ministry of Agriculture, aides, walpri and digital forensic experts from the Regional Police.

Monitoring in the field, Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta and Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono have undergone examination as witnesses in Firli Bahuri's code of ethics trial.
