Mahfud MD Teachers To Arsjad Rasjid And Sandiaga Uno On Economics Ahead Of The Vice Presidential Candidate Debate

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate number three, Mahfud MD reportedly studied with a number of businessmen to prepare for the debate on Friday, December 22. Mahfud asked for input because of the theme raised related to the economy.

Chairman of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Arsjad Rasjid said he was one of Mahfud's opinions. The head of the inactive Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) admitted that he had provided input for the focus Mahfud would discuss.

"We were asked for input by Mr. Mahfud. I was asked for input," said Arsjad to reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 20.

In addition, there are other entrepreneurs who also provide input to Mahfud such as Harry Tanoesodibjo who is the General Chair of the Perindo Party. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno has also done the same thing.

Apart from studying with entrepreneurs, Mahfud also prepared a debate by hearing and absorbing the aspirations of the community. In particular, from groups of entrepreneurs, MSMEs, as well as other economic communities.

"Mr. Mahfud heard inputs, people's voices, because the main thing is the people's voice first what is economically conveyed. Then also the communities, whether it's from the creative economy community, the digital economy," said Arsjad.

"This is very important. So that's what Mr. Mahfud did. So far, Mr. Mahfud has listened to inputs and that's where he got a vision and mission," he continued.

Not only that, Mahfud also received input from Ganjar Pranowo. The former governor of Central Java has recently often visited the market.

"Mas Ganjar also provides input and Mr. Mahfud also wants to know what is the input from Mas Ganjar. These things have been done by Mr. Mahfud so far," he concluded.
