AMIN National Team Encourages PPATK To Launch Suspicious Campaign Fund Data

JAKARTA - The National Winning Team (Timnas) Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) has encouraged the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) to immediately disclose odd transaction data of campaign funds to the public.

"From the PPATK statement, we want to encourage it to be immediately disclosed to the public," said AMIN National Team Spokesperson Billy David in Jakarta, Wednesday.

He conveyed that with the opening of suspicious transaction data on the campaign funds, his party could immediately take steps and attitudes if affiliated with these findings.

"Including if someone is indicated to be affiliated with AMIN, we can take further steps and attitudes," he said.

He said his party could not confirm AMIN's entanglement with PPATK's findings regarding campaign fund odd transactions.

"When PPATK has revealed it first, then we can see whether there is a connection or not," said Billy.

Previously, PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana on December 14, 2023, stated that transaction reports allegedly related to money laundering in the 2024 election campaign increased 100 percent in the second semester of 2023.

PPATK found that a number of campaign activities were carried out without the movement of transactions in the Special Campaign Fund Account (RKDK).
