Optimistic Prabowo-Gibran Wins One Round, TKN: Opportunities 85-90 Percent

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Hasan Nasbi said three pairs of candidates (paslon) for presidential and vice-presidential candidates have the opportunity to win one round in the 2024 presidential election

According to him, it's fine at this time every candidate continues to narrate one round in each campaign.

"It's okay, it's natural. We also want one round. The difference is that we don't have one round, they are the problem if we narrate one round, they say it's cheating," he said in a discussion entitled 'Mainten the One Round Presidential Election: The Political Economy Side and Budget Efficiency', quoted from the Mediation Channel YouTube channel, Wednesday, December 20.

He explained, based on the results of a number of survey institutions regarding the electability level of each candidate pair, the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD showed an average of 20 percent. Meanwhile, the pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka 35-46 percent.

Responding to this figure, Hasan assessed that the candidate who was most likely to win one round was the Prabowo-Gibran pair.

However, he said who will have the chance to win one round will be clearly visible in the survey results in January 2024.

"When we talk about chance, in my opinion, 85-90 percent chance one round for Prabowo-Gibran. Can Anies's partner get one round? Yes, but the chances are less because the numbers are still small. Can Mas Ganjar do it? Of course, it can, but the chances are smaller because the numbers are still small. The same opportunity is that Prabowo-Gibran has one round. The pair Anies and Mas Ganjar can lose one round," he said.

Furthermore, Hasan emphasized that it would be better if the 2024 presidential election could be completed with one round. The reason is that there are no quarrels and bad thoughts that drag on. In fact, he regretted various kinds of fake news or hoaxes that continued to attack Prabowo-Gibran.

"What I'm sad about was friends who claimed to be victims of hoaxes, now they are hoaxes. Many supporters of Pak Jokowi who used to be victims of hoaxes, have now turned to support Mas Ganjar to become the perpetrators of their hoaxes. The first hoax when Gibran didn't know the data on free meals was useful for 400 million. Even though there are only 200 million citizens, because this video has been cut," he said.
