New Year's Eve On The Puncak Bogor Route: Odd Even, One Way, And Road Closure

Ahead of the upcoming 2024 Christmas and New Year Holidays (Nataru), the Traffic Unit or Bogor Police Traffic Unit will implement 3 kinds of traffic engineering on the Puncak Line which will be enforced during the holiday.

KBO Satlantas Bogor Police, Iptu Ardian Novianto said the implementation of traffic engineering will be carried out on the Puncak Line, Bogor Regency from Friday, December 22, 2023 to Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

"The first is implementing rakayasa cross-even systems that we usually do on the Puncak Route in accordance with the mandate of Permenhub No. 84 of 2001," said KBO Bogor Police Traffic Unit Iptu Ardian Novianto on Wednesday, December 20.

Not only the odd-even application (gage) tang will be carried out but there will be a Contra flow and one-way engineering which will also be implemented to minimize the accumulation of vehicle volume.

"So the first (gage) to anticipate in line with the 22nd has started with a wax operation. Of course, the strength of personnel will increase, namely the existence of security posts during the Naru holiday," he explained.

In addition, there will be at least 4 standby posts spread across several points, these locations can be used as resting places and become aid locations if unwanted things happen.

Ardian also explained that the Bogor Police Traffic Unit would deploy at least 86 personnel for the guard and assistance from other SKPDs.

"The Bogor Police Traffic Unit during the long holiday we deployed a full of 86 personnel plus Samapta Bogor Police and from personnel at the security post at the Puncak security post," he said.
