Ganjar Regarding Prabowo Uniting With Jokowi: Campaign Is Indeed A Time To Claim

YOGYAKARTA - Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo responded to Prabowo Subianto's statement claiming to have merged with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

According to him, Prabowo's statement was a claim that was mostly made during the campaign period.

"It's time for the campaign to claim, right," said Ganjar in Bantul, Yogyakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 19.

However, he did not mind the statement of the presidential candidate number 2. The former Governor of Central Java handed over the assessment to the public.

"The public will see the facts of the data and track record", he explained.

Previously, presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto admitted that he had learned a lot from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). One of the things he learned was that he was about being able to invite political opponents to become good friends.

This was conveyed by Prabowo in his remarks at the Sarasehan for the Improvement of Islamic Boarding School Independence at JIExpo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Saturday (16/12). Initially Prabowo acknowledged Jokowi's greatness, who managed to defeat him in two presidential elections.

"Anyway, I am united with Pak Jokowi. I don't know how Pak Jokowi's knowledge is, which is clearly great. He not only defeated the former commander, former general, he defeated, but he was able to make good friends," said Prabowo.

Prabowo said that the opponent to become a friend is knowledge. However, if it is done the other way around, then it becomes the wrong thing.

"If the opponent makes friends, that's just knowledge, don't make friends an opponent, well that's wrong, do you understand?" he said.
