Prabowo: I Am Grateful To Be The Minister Of Defense And I Have Worked Hard

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto is grateful and proud for his participation as Minister of Defense.

"I am grateful and I am proud to be the Minister of Defense. I have worked hard, as hard as I can in my field," Prabowo said in his political speech at the declaration of support for the Young Islamic Generation Causcus Volunteers (Gemuis) as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 18.

The chairman of the Gerinda Party said that his steps had only been taken for one purpose, namely not wanting Indonesia to be colonized again.

He believes that of all the figures who have and are leading Indonesia, they just want the people to live a prosperous life.

"Our goal, our intention, our thoughts, our efforts are to make our people prosperous," said Prabowo.

Prabowo also asked the public to be wise and always be grateful for the efforts made by the nation's leaders.

"We must be grateful to all our predecessors, we must respect all Presidents," Prabowo said.

Previously, Prabowo received support from Gemuis volunteers at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Monday, and at the same time promised to carry out various work programs if a mandate was given to lead the country.
