Ganjar Explains 3 Strategies To Lower Prices Of Basic Materials

President Ganjar Pranowo's candidates conveyed three strategies to reduce the prices of basic commodities in the market that he had implemented while serving as Governor of Central Java for two terms.

Ganjar said the first strategy is data, the second strategy is commodity maps, and the third strategy is the provision of agricultural production facilities for farmers.

In addition, a map of Indonesian commodities is needed because the diversity of commodities is needed so as not to focus on one type of food produced.

"So I say, let's return to local power, if it is properly recorded that input and output have been seen, then we will talk about the quantity that can be produced according to the needs of the population," he said while attending the Consolidation of Winning Volunteers in Kepil, Wonosobo Regency.

If agricultural production exceeds the number of needs, Ganjar continued, the government could export it to countries in need.

The third strategy is that the government must provide agricultural production infrastructure and production facilities to farmers.

"Until that point, we are starting to talk about what spray and saprodi are given for the production facilities and agriculture, so modernization is also carried out, including then preparing fertilizers, drugs, tools and agricultural machinery during the process until they come out as products," he said.

In addition to the quality and quantity of production, Ganjar will also restore Bulog's function so that food cannot be realized so that Bulog's existence is able to maintain price stability from producers to markets.

"Bulog is returned to its initial function, namely Bulog which will buy production directly from farmers so that it cannot be realized, and can maintain price stability," he said.

Presidential Candidate number 3 paired with Vice Presidential Candidate Mahfud MD will continue to encourage Indonesia to become a independent country in agriculture.

"If we can produce why not, that's a career. This is what we have practiced in Central Java," he said.
