Budget Calculation Already, Muhaimin Promises To Remove PBB To Give Allowances For Pregnant Women

BEKASI - The pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar promised to provide special allowances to pregnant women, Koran teachers, and the elimination of land and building taxes (PBB) related to educational building facilities as well as taklim assembly houses.

This promise was made by Muhaimin when he met hundreds of Koran teachers throughout Bekasi Regency, West Java.

This commitment, said Cak Imin, is to improve the welfare of life for Koran teachers, prevent stunting or tengkes from an early age, and help reduce the burden on Islamic religious education providers such as the taklim assembly.

"We have calculated all of them, it makes it much easier for education managers to become cheap because there are no burdens at the United Nations and other taxes," said the vice presidential candidate number 1 as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 18.

Muhaimin emphasized that removing the PBB for education is an easy thing because it is all to make it easier for educators or education administrators such as pesantren and taklim assemblies to educate the next generation of the nation.

"I am sure the budget is very sufficient, especially if a sweep is carried out from the focus of the education budget which is not yet clear," said Muhaimin.

"So, if it is just to release the PBB, God willing, the government will be easy." he added.

Alluding to the special allowance for pregnant women, Muhaimin said it was also realistic because it was actually important to make it happen in order to prevent stunting from an early age.

AMIN also promised to appoint honorary teachers, religious education teachers, and taklim assembly teachers as civil servants (PNS).

Muhaimin said the policy was a sign of his gratitude and Anies Baswedan to the educators.

He wants the lives of educators who have contributed to building the mentality or character of the nation's next generation to be prosperous.
