Bima Arya Asks Organdas To Participate In Perfecting Future Transportation

JAKARTA - Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto advised the Land Transport Organization (Organda) to participate in perfecting the concept of future transportation. One of them is the buy the service (BTS) Biskita Trans Pakuan program.

He said that it is necessary from the sustainability of transportation programs in Bogor City to improve existing concepts and find common ground.

"I am sure that in the future there will be more common ground to be achieved for the sake of a better city of Bogor and for the sake of mutual pride. So it doesn't go back to zero because it will change the concept that has been made," he said, quoting Antara.

This message, said Bima, had been conveyed to the administrators of the Bogor City Organda while attending the 8th Branch Conference (Muscab) of 2023 DPC Organda Bogor City at the Ririn Hotel, Ciburial Indah 1 Street, Baranangsiang Village, East Bogor District, Thursday (14/12).

According to Bima, if there is a common ground between what the Bogor City Government is trying to do with what residents expect, then blessings and goodness for all. But not a few and not infrequently not reached a common ground, then what happened was a setback.

In the last ten years, the Bogor City Government has designed a transformation of transportation, which was originally congested, not finding a solution for more than 20 years, which is gradually starting to be arranged.

Among other things, by implementing a one-way system (SSA) in the city center and then programming the conversion of the 3:1 bus angkot in Biskita Transpakuan. The goal is to eliminate public transportation which is one of the causes of congestion in the city center to be replaced by Biskita Transpakuan.

Angkot operations shift to the edge of the city to connect residents in the city center.

In terms of infrastructure, the Otista bridge, which has become a vehicle blockage, will soon be launched with a revitalization area of 16 meters. This historic bridge is even designed firmly to be passed by tram transportation modes in the future.

The dynamics that arise, continued Bima, are due to a lack of socialization and less mature concepts. In principle, efforts and policies that arise do not want to harm any party.

Bima apologized if in ten years he led the city of Bogor, there were those who were not pleased, both verbal, act, and policy.

"But rest assured that I have no intention of causing trouble or eliminating sustenance, there is only a long-term mind so that the city of Bogor becomes better and more orderly with more comfortable transportation," he said.
