DKI Provincial Government Wins The Value Of The Statistical Development Index

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta won an award as a work unit with a good Statistical Development Index Value from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government received the second best award from three provinces that won the Anindhita Wistara Data award," said Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Communication, Information and Statistics Agency Sigit Wijatmoko in Jakarta, Friday, December 15, as reported by Antara.

This predicate was achieved thanks to a score of 3.11 in the 2023 Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation Program (EPSS).

"We are grateful that the hard work of the DKI Provincial Government in managing data based on the principles of One Data Indonesia (SDI) has resulted in proud achievements," he said.

His party expressed his gratitude for the guidance and direction from the Acting Governor (Pj) Heru Budi Hartono so that data management in DKI Jakarta continues to apply the principle of one data.

The award given at the "Agricultural Census Dissemination in Jakarta" event, Sigit said, EPSS is a systematic and measurable assessment through verification and validation of information on the results of self-assessment to measure the level of maturity in the implementation of sectoral statistics.

In addition, Sigit said, the DKI Provincial Government (Pemprov) is serious in managing sectoral data based on SDI principles. This is done so that the managed data becomes centralized and of high quality.

With quality data, it is hoped that it can support better development planning and provide benefits for the people of Jakarta.

According to Sigit, the Anindhita Wistara Data award can raise the spirit of the DKI Jakarta apparatus to continue to play an active role in advancing the country and providing benefits through quality data management.

"We must not be complacent with the achievement of this award. In fact, the Anindhita Wistara Data award must be a trigger for even higher enthusiasm for DKI Jakarta to improve quality data management," said Sigit.

The Anindhita Wistara Data Award is a form of BPS appreciation for the commitment and achievements of ministries or institutions or local governments in EPSS.
