Densus 88 Arrest 2 Suspected Terrorists In Sukoharjo, Air Rifle Arrested

The National Police's Anti-terror Detachment 88 has arrested two suspected terrorist residents in Karangasem Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java (Central Java).

Based on information obtained in the field, Thursday, December 14, the two residents had the initials S and W.

A resident with the initials S was secured in Karangasem Village, while a resident with the initials W was secured in Mandan Village, Sukoharjo District.

Karangasem Village Head Bambang Minarno said, from the information obtained by the suspected terrorist with the initials S, he was arrested at 05.30 WIB after performing the Fajr prayer.

"After the Fajr prayer, the Densus has secured it," he said, confiscated by Antara.

Regarding S's daily life, Bambang said that so far he is known as a community leader.

In fact, according to him, no resident is suspicious of S's attitude, because his daily activities are like ordinary people.

"He is a native of this villager. Yes, he is like ordinary people," he said.

According to him, Densus also secured a number of personal items belonging to S, including books, gadgets, and air rifles.

He said the search of the suspected terrorist's house was carried out by Densus 88 officers in about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, Sukoharjo Police Chief AKBP Sigit confirmed the arrest of suspected terrorists in Sukoharjo's jurisdiction.
