Fahri Hamzah Hears Rumors Of Political Parties Supporting Anies Withdraws His Minister In Jokowi's Cabinet, NasDem Denies

Deputy Chairperson of the Gelora Party as well as Spokesperson for the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming, Fahri Hamzah, heard rumors that political parties supporting presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan would withdraw his ministers from the cabinet of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) government. This was conveyed by Fahri Hamzah in his X account as seen on Thursday, December 14. Fahri admitted that he heard rumors that Anies would announce the resignation of NasDem and PKB ministers from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. Based on the news he got, Fahri said that the resignation was part of Anies' affirmation of the opposition's attitude. "Just hearing good news for our democracy that the number 1 presidential candidate will announce that all supporting parties will withdraw from the cabinet this week. He said this was in order to strengthen their position as opposition in the election later. (This information needs to be asked to the person concerned)," Fahri tweeted in his X account. Confirmed regarding his tweet, the former Deputy Speaker of the DPR emphasized that the rumors had to be checked with the parties concerned. "The formula needs to be asked," Fahri said when confirmed, Thursday, December 14. According to Fahri, if the rumors are true, Anies' pro-step is against the rulers, it is good for the sustainability of democracy. "But if it's true, it's really good for democracy," said Fahri.

In response to this, the chairman of the NasDem Party DPP Charles Meikiansyah denied the rumors. Chares emphasized that the NasDem Party remains loyal to the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) until the end of its term of office. "It's not true.
