Construction Of Jalan Banjarbaru-Batulicin South Kalimantan Capai 65 Percent

Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of South Kalimantan Province, Ahmad Solhan, said that the construction of alternative roads for Banjarbaru City and Batulicin, Tanah Bumbu Regency reached 65 percent.

"The construction of the Banjarbaru-Batulicin alternative road is about 100 kilometers long," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 13.

According to him, the construction of the road, which starts from 2919 until it continues at the end of 2023, will reach 65 kilometers of paved roads.

The work on the completion of alternative roads or toll roads is targeted for completion in 2024.

He revealed that the construction of this road is not only asphalting, but also building several bridges, there are even two long bridges.

"There are also 15 box culverts or culvert bridges built," said Solhan.

He also ensured the commitment of the Governor of South Kalimantan, Sahbirin Noor, to complete the road for the community to be able to cut significant trips.

The progress of the construction of the Banjarbaru-Batulicin road which will cost a budget of IDR 1.8 trillion until the end of this year has also received the attention of experts from the Governor of South Kalimantan.

The Expert Staff of the Governor of South Kalimantan in the field of Acceleration of Apriansyah Development together with Syahbuddin and Wahyuddin reviewed the construction of these alternative roads.

The visit of the group was accompanied by the Head of the South Kalimantan PUPR Service Ahmad Solhan, the Secretary of the South Kalimantan PUPR Office Andri Fadli, the Head of Highways of the South Kalimantan PUPR Service, Azan Syariful Muaz, and the Head of the Development Administration Bureau Gusti Rahmad and other officials.

Expert Staff of the Governor of South Kalimantan Apriansyah said that his party wanted to evaluate the strategic development project belonging to the South Kalimantan Provincial Government.

"This is one of the strategic projects of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government whose impact is very good to facilitate the flow of goods transport traffic," he said.

It is the task of his team to conduct a review as well as evaluate the strategic project belonging to the South Kalimantan Provincial Government, so that they can find out the obstacles and can be completed according to the predetermined target.

"Hopefully the Banjarbaru-Batulicin freeway can be completed in 2024," he said.
