Meeting Danny Pomanto, Kaesang Doesn't Discuss The Presidential Election

MAKASSAR - Chairman of the Central Leadership Council of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (DPP PSI) Kaesang Pangarep said there was no discussion regarding the Presidential Election at a meeting with the Mayor of Makassar Ramdhan Pomanto.

"Earlier I talked about many things, but it's not related to the presidential election," said Kaesang Pangarep at the private residence of Makassar Mayor Ramdhan Pomanto in Makassar as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 12.

The same thing was also said by Ramdhan Pomanto. "I don't think we talked about the presidential election. We are more about friendship," said the mayor who is familiarly called Danny Pomanto.

He welcomed Kaesang Pangarep's visit as the chairman of PSI.

"The city of Makassar is a good city for all. As a mayor and political coach, I am very happy that the PSI chairman is currently visited, it is an honor for the Makassar City Government and the people of Makassar City," he said.

During his meeting, his party promoted Makassar City a lot to Kaesang.

"Introducing Makassar City, the Mayor's job is to sell Makassar. To provide information on the branding of Makassar City as a City of Eating Goods," he said.

Danny Pomanto said that if the Indonesian Solidarity Party manages to enter parliament, his party hopes that in the future Makassar City can get political support from PSI.

Kaesang Pangarep visited South Sulawesi to carry out a number of agendas, including the South Sulawesi Kopdarwil (land coffee) PSI on 12-13 December 2023.

To Kopdarwil, Kaesang Pangarep will give directions to administrators and cadres to ensure victory in the 2024 General Election.

In addition to the internal agenda, Kaesang also visited a number of figures, including Ulumul Quran Islamic Boarding School DDI Hasanuddin and met with Makassar Mayor Ramdhan Pomanto.

Kaesang Pangarep will also meet the Chinese community, the church community, and young people.

In addition to the gathering, Kaesang will also take part in the Football Week against South Sulawesi Pre-PON athletes. In addition, Kaesang will play mobile legends with the E-Sport competition champion in Makassar.
