Fickle, Now The AMIN National Team Confirms Not To Give Legal Aid To Komika Aulia, A Suspect Of Blasphemy Of Religion

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the National Team for the Winning of Anies-Muhaimin (AmIN National Team) Angga Putra Fidrian said that his party would not provide legal assistance to comic Aulia Rahman.

Aulia was named a suspect in the alleged blasphemy case from the stand-up material she made during Anies' Desak activity some time ago.

"What needs to be clarified is that the comics are not the AMIN campaign team, so there is no special assistance from the national team," Angga told reporters, Monday, December 11.

In fact, previously, AMIN National Team Spokesperson Billy David Neututumilena said that his party was ready to provide information, prepare legal aid materials and strategies to help Aulia.

However, now Angga emphasized that Billy's statement regarding the readiness of legal assistance to Aulia was not on behalf of the AMIN national team.

"Even if there is a national team that helps it fall personally, not on behalf of the national team," he said.

Angga emphasized that the freedom of opinion that the AMIN national team welcomes Aulia to do a roasting stand-up comedy at Anies' Desak event does not mean that the person concerned can freely speak anything.

"We have given the corridor that as hard as we can, if we want to attack, it is Anies Baswedan's roasting. Don't go other way. But maybe the comics have their own creativity," said Angga.

The Lampung Regional Police have named comic Aulia (33) who appeared at the Desak Anies presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan during a campaign activity last Thursday, December 7, as a suspect in alleged blasphemy.

In the event, one of the comic materials, Aulia, contained the phrase "Try to check in prison, yes, how many names of Muhammad are there, it's important that Muhammad's name is now. All of them have been imprisoned".

Now, Aulia is being held at the Lampung Police Headquarters for further processing.

"The person concerned has been named a suspect. AR is subject to Article 156 letter a of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 156 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 5 years in prison," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Umi Fadillah Astutik, Monday, December 11.
