Allegedly Violating Netrality, 2 Riau Islands Provincial Government ASN Will Be Processed By KASN

TANJUNGPINANG - The General Election Supervisory Agency recommended two ASNs from the Riau Islands Provincial Government (Pemprov Kepri) to the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) regarding the findings of alleged violations of ASN neutrality.

"The two ASNs are referred to as Arif Fadillah and Yofa Afrizair," said Member of the Riau Islands Bawaslu, Rosnawati in Tanjungpinang as reported by ANTARA Monday, December 11.

Rosnawati said that her party had sent a letter of recommendation on the findings of the alleged violation of the neutrality of the two ASNs to KASN in early December 2023.

Even so, he did not specify the form of the alleged violations committed by the two.

"We'll just have to wait for the results of the CASN recommendation to come out," he said.

Rosnawati said the alleged violation of the neutrality of the two ASNs was located in Karimun Regency.

This started with information on mass media coverage regarding indications of violations of ASN neutrality by both of them.

After that, Bawaslu immediately followed up by conducting a field search, according to the mechanism for handling findings of alleged election violations.

Bawaslu has also conducted studies by asking for information from a number of parties regarding the alleged violation of the neutrality of the two ASNs, such as the Riau Islands Provincial Secretary, BKD, Kemenpan-RB, the reported parties, witnesses and one of the political parties.

"The results of the search and study are what we will continue with KASN. Whatever the results will be, it will be entirely under the authority of KASN," said Rosnawati.
