JAKARTA - Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA) Muhammad Syarifuddin asked the judicial apparatus to make breakthrough innovations and improve services to people who seek justice.

"Never stop innovating and providing the best service to justice seekers," he said while giving a speech at the awarding ceremony for the Abhinaya Upangga Wisesa Cup at Pendapa Wahyawibagraha Jember, Monday, December 11, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, every year the Supreme Court gives appreciation for the innovation and performance of the judiciary so that it is even better in providing services to the community and to create a modern technology-based Indonesian judicial body.

"The current trial must be modern based on information technology, so that it never stops to provide the best service to IT-based justice seekers and a race to provide the best service," he said.

He explained that technological advances contributed positively, so that judicial apparatus was expected to be able to quickly and cheaply solve cases based on technology, as well as provide inclusive services for people with disabilities.

"After the Supreme Court can quickly resolve the case, the quality of the verdict will shift to the demands of justice seekers. For this reason, we ask the judicial apparatus to provide quality services," he said.

The Supreme Court is always ready to follow the development of existing technological information to improve services to justice-seeking communities, such as holding hearings, calling litigants, and other services.

All types of criminal, civil, military, religious cases have used IT, this not only accelerates the litigant process but also reduces the costs that must be incurred by the community.

Abhinaya Upangga Wisesa's activity was attended by chairmen, deputy chairmen, clerks both at the district court level to high courts throughout Indonesia who received certificates of appreciation.
