Man Found Lying Covered In Blood In Kuta Underpass, Allegedly Trying To Commit Suicide

A video circulated of a man trying to commit suicide jumping off a bridge and lying covered in blood at Dewa Ruci Underpass, Sunset Road, Kuta, Badung Bali.

Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police AKP I Ketut Sukadi said the incident occurred at around 06.00 WITA.

"The victim allegedly attempted suicide in the vicinity of the bridge," said AKP Sukadi, Monday, December 11.

The Korban with the initials IS (25), a resident of Probolinggo, East Java, is known to be melipoat from the edge of the northern border.

"The victim is still found alive. The victim has been evacuated using an ambulance to the Sanglah General Hospital (RSUP) Denpasar. The victim is currently undergoing intensive care," he added.

The motive for this suicide attempt is not yet known. The victim cannot be questioned.

"At the scene of the incident, a Suzuki Smash motorcycle was found which allegedly belonged to the victim. Until now, the victim is still in intensive care, cannot be interrogated and has been handled by the Kuta Police," he said.
