Harassing The Name Of The Prophet Muhammad, The Police Have Determined Komika Aulia Rakhman As A Suspect

Komika Aulia Rakhman was involved in the alleged harassment of the name of the Prophet Muhammad Saw during the "Desak Anies" activity in Lampung. Aulia was reported on charges of blasphemy and was finally named a suspect in the alleged blasphemy case by the Lampung Police.

This was stated by the Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Kombes Pol Umi Fadilah Astutik in his statement on the media, Sunday, December 10. "This determination is based on the examination of seven witnesses and five experts whose results stated that the AR comic was suspected of committing blasphemy," said Umi. After this determination, the comic Aulia Rakhman himself was recommended to be detained to facilitate further examination process. "The suspect AR is subject to a violation of Article 156 letter a of the Criminal Code concerning Blasphemy of Religion, subsidiary to Article 156 of the Criminal Code regarding hate speech against a group and investigators themselves ordered that the person concerned be detained," he stressed. Previously, comic Aulia Rahman was reported by the community organization (ormas) Lingkar Nusantara (Lisan) to the Lampung Police on charges of blasphemy on Saturday. In his report, Lisan considers Aulia Rakhman alleged to have insulted the name of the Prophet Muhammad Saw in the stand-up comedy material in Lampung. In the event, Aulia became one of the comics who was invited and appeared in the event attended by the presidential candidate Anies Baswedan.

"Right now, what does name mean, it's like it's important. Just try to check the prison, how much is Muhammad. It's important that Muhammad's name is now in prison," said Aulia, who then gave rise to a strong reaction from the public.
