Passengers Increase, Po Sembodo Opens New Jakarta Bus Route - Wonogiri Ahead Of The 2023 New Year's Christmas Holiday

JAKARTA - Ahead of the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays, users of mass inter-provincial inter-city bus (AKAP) transportation to Central Java are expected to continue to increase. One of the autobus (PO) companies of PT Semesta Bolo Transindo (Sembodo) is also preparing a new Jakarta - Wonogiri travel route.

The autobus company is known for its fleet which offers timeliness and convenience for passengers in all types of its services.

"We are opening this new Jakarta-Wonogiri route to strengthen AKAP bus services by providing timely and comfortable services for passengers," said the President Director of PO Sembodo, Bambang H. Winarto in East Jakarta, Sunday, December 10.

Later, the new route will come with an Executive Plus 26 seat (seater) class service. The bus used uses a Mercy 1626 machine with various luxury facilities.

"We are consistent with providing excellent service, namely the stewards and flight attendants who are still present on this new route," he said.

Not only that, the facilities offered for every Jakarta-Wonogiri passenger are getting free snacks (snacks), drinking and eating vouchers.

In addition, each seat is equipped with an AVOD, USB Port Charger, and Legrest (umpak) or footwear, which is presented with a 2-2 configuration chair. This is to provide comfort to passengers.

In this new route, the price of bus tickets is priced at IDR 300 thousand with departure time starting in the afternoon. Later, the number of prepared fleets will be 8-12 units, which will be carried out in stages.

Bambang hopes that the new route, which has the slogan "AKAP Rasa Wisata", can be accepted by the public and become the main choice, especially the people of Wonogiri.

"Our occupancy reaches about 85 percent of passengers, with a fleet of timeliness that we guard, a smile crew, honesty and the completeness of 9 CCTV units in one bus fleet," he said.
