JAKARTA - The chairman of the BKSAP, Dr. Fadli Zon, proposed the use of the Indonesian-Melayu language as the official ASEAN-AIPA language during a diplomatic visit to the Malaysian Parliament.

This proposal was welcomed by the Chairman of the Malaysian Parliament, Tan Sri Dato Johari Bin Abdul, who also discussed with the delegation of the Indonesian House of Representatives regarding the situation in Gaza, Palestine.

In bilateral meetings, it was agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two parliaments, including the establishment of the Indonesian-Melayu Language Parliament Association.
