Telkomsel Lifts Nugroho So President Director Replaces Hendri Mulya Syam

JAKARTA - PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk or Telkom Indonesia (TLKM) and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (Singtel) shareholders of PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) have appointed Sarwoto Atmosutarno as Commissioner replacing Nanang Pamuji Mugasejati effectively since December 1, 2023.

Then, Nugroho was appointed as President Director replacing Hendri Mulya Syam. In addition, Indra Mardiatna was appointed as Director of Network replacing Nugroho, which this decision is effective from December 8, 2023.

For information, Nugroho (Nugi) was appointed as President Director of Telkomsel. He previously served as Director of Network Telkomsel (2021-2023) and held several strategic positions in Telkomsel, such as Senior Vice President Business IT Delivery Telkomsel (2019-2021), Vice President IT Customer Care and Charging Group Telkomsel (2017-2019), and Vice President IT Customer Care and Billing Solution and Management Group Telkomsel (2014-2017).

Nugroho received education majoring in Electric Engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology. Then he got a Master's degree in Information System Development at Hertfordshire University, England.

Meanwhile, Telkomsel's Vice President for Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility, Saki H. Bramono, conveyed that the determination of the new composition of the Commissioner and Directors of Telkomsel is in line with Telkomsel's strategy.
