Alma Wiranta explained Perda No. 1 of 2021 concerning Public Order which is the result of a revision of Perda No. 8 of 2006 concerning Public Order.

According to Alma, the Bogor City Government is currently enforcing the health protocol discipline based on Mayor Regulation Number 107 of 2020 concerning Imposition of Administrative Sanctions for Orderly Health Violations in Handling COVID-19 in Bogor City which refers to Perda No. 8 of 2006.

"His position is currently being drafted by the Bogor City Government Legal Team," he said.

According to Alma, in the revision of the mayor's regulation, it is proposed to strengthen enforcement of health protocol discipline by increasing the administrative fine sanctions, namely the maximum fine for individuals from IDR 250 thousand to IDR IDR 1 million, while a maximum fine for corporations from IDR 10 million to IDR 50 million.

By increasing these fines, Alma hopes that it can have a higher deterrent effect on individuals and corporations so that it can reduce the number of COVID-19 cases in Bogor City.
