Prabowo Promises To Allocate IDR 400 Trillion For Student Lunch

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Ali Masykur Musa, ensured that Prabowo Subianto's presidential candidate would allocate a budget of IDR 400 trillion to provide nutritious food packages for school children if he was elected to win the 2024 presidential election.

"That (APBN) is IDR 400 trillion, including providing food for our children at school," Ali said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 8.

According to him, Prabowo did focus on programs to improve the quality of human resources (HR), one of which was early nutrition improvement.

Therefore, the candidate pair number 2 is aggressively calling for a program to provide milk and proper lunch for students.

In terms of budget, Ali continued, this effort is possible because Prabowo will increase the value of state spending for the program.

"The current receipt is IDR 2,600 trillion. So, Pak Prabowo will be able to add around IDR 700 trillion to IDR 800 trillion in the APBN," Ali explained.

Not only that, Prabowo will also focus on improving food quality by increasing rice fields. Thus, domestic food reserves will be safe for a long period of time.

If Prabowo-Gibran is elected to win the 2024 presidential election, Ali continued, then all of his programs will be realized in the interests of the people.
