Ganjar Reminds That The Process Of Transferring ASN From Jakarta To IKN Must Be Mature And Measurable

Presidential candidate (candidate) number 3 Ganjar Pranowo said the transfer of state civil servants (ASN) from Jakarta to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) must be carried out with careful planning so that it is right on target and measurable. ASN from Jakarta were transferred to IKN for the initial batch as a support for the transition of the nation's capital. "Everything must be calculated with careful planning, the ecosystem must be prepared, then everything is done through a correct and appropriate process," said Ganjar during a visit to IKN in North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Thursday, December 7, confiscated by Antara. Ganjar also emphasized that he was ready to have an office in IKN if he won the 2024 presidential election and was elected president. "You have to (ready to have an office in IKN)," said Ganjar. Not only that, when having a dialogue with the people in East Kalimantan, many predict that IKN will be ready to operate in the next 30 years. Regarding this, Ganjar acknowledged that the development of IKN as the capital city of the future does require a long time and process, so all plans must be well prepared. "I think if people think that the 30 new years of IKN are ready, then I think the transformation within 30 years must be prepared properly and that is enough," said Ganjar.

Before going to IKN, Ganjar campaigned in East Kalimantan since Tuesday, December 5, by visiting several places in Balikpapan. Then, on Wednesday 6 December, Ganjar visited the Sultanate of Kutai Kartanegara and Samarinda. The KPU has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3. The campaign period has also been scheduled from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
