The forensic team at the Achmad Mochtar Hospital (RSAM) Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, together with the National Police's Disaster Victim Indentification (DVI) unit managed to identify six additional bodies who were climbers who were victims of the eruption of Mount Marapi.

"The last six bodies received by the RSAM have been identified. They consist of three women and three men," said Director of RSAM Busril in Bukittinggi as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 6.

The six victims completed data on the number of victims of the eruption of Mount Marapi to 22 people with the death status of 75 climbers who were recorded to be in the peak area during the eruption on Sunday (3/12).

The six victims identified were Lenggo Baren (19) from North Tapanuli, Zikri Habibi (19) from Padang, Novita Intan (39) from Padang, Liarni (22) from Jambi, Ilham Nanda Bintang (21) from Pekanbaru, and Frengky Candra Kusuma (24) from South Solok.

"Five victims have student status, while one victim is in the name of Novita Intan as a housewife," he said.

RSAM, which was appointed as the Antemortem Post from the National Police DVI so far, has received 22 bodies, all of which have been identified and some have been taken home by their families.
