JAKARTA - A company owned by conglomerate Dato Tahir, PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk, will raise capital through the issuance of new shares or a rights issue. The bank, which is owned by the 10th richest person in Indonesia, announced an exercise price of Rp400 for each new share issued.

The management of Bank Mayapada announced that each holder of 5,000 old shares registered in the list of shareholders as of March 2, 2020 is entitled to 3,659 shares of Pre-emptive Rights (HMETD). Each Rights issue has the right to buy one new share at a price of Rp400.

"PT Mayapada Karunia as the Company's Main Shareholder stated that it would take part in this PUT XIII by purchasing Preemptive Rights shares with a total of at least 1,320,763,369 in accordance with the share ownership portion or at least 26.42 percent during the exercise of the Rights," wrote Mayapada Bank management.
