Prabowo Gives Final Respect To Doni Monardo At Kopassus Command Center

JAKARTA - Indonesian Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto paid his last respects to former Head of BNPB Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Doni Monardo at the Cijantung Kopassus Command Center, East Jakarta, Monday, December 4. Prabowo arrived at the Command Center at 09:00 WIB wearing a brown safari uniform and a black cap. He stood beside Wiranto and alternately approached the coffin. Prabowo also gave his last prayer and respect to the late Doni Monardo. On Prabowo's personal Instagram page, he also uploaded a photo of his moment with the deceased. “Innalillahi Waina Ilaihi Rojiun. Goodbye Lieutenant General TNI (ret) Doni Monardo. May Allah SWT accept all his deeds of worship and place him in the best place by His side,” write @prabowo. On that occasion, Prabowo also expressed his condolences to the deceased's family and spoke with the two deceased's sons. He also attended the funeral prayer and the ceremony to release the body.

Apart from Prabowo, it was also seen that the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, the Wantimpres Chair who is also the former Commander of ABRI Wiranto, and former Head of BIN Hendropriyono were also present. As is known, Lt. Gen. Retired Doni Monardo passed away on Sunday afternoon, December 3. The deceased was declared dead at 17.35 WIB. Previously, he had been treated intensively at Siloam Semanggi Hospital, Jakarta.
