President Jokowi Attends The Opening Of WCAS COP28 In Dubai

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo continued his second day of work in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to Expo City Dubai to attend the opening of the World Climate Action Summit (WCAS) in the COP28 series.

Jokowi will deliver a national statement at the WCAS COP28 meeting.

Furthermore, Jokowi participated in the Leaders' Event: Transforming Food Systems in the Face of Climate Change.

On the sidelines of the WCAS COP28 activity in Dubai, Jokowi is also scheduled to hold a meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister (PM) Jonas Gahr St. fire in Bilateral Room, DEC.

Meanwhile, Friday night, local time, Jokowi will attend Zayed Sustainability Prize at Al Wasl Plaza.

Jokowi will also attend a dinner held by UAE PresidentMohammed bin Zayed and Brazilian President Lala da Silva at Surreal Falls, Expo City Dubai.

In the series of WCAS COP28 activities, President Jokowi accompanied the Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Mansury.
