Handover Of Chief Position, National Army Is Ready To Face Future Challenges

JAKARTA - In the 2023 fiscal year, various work programs and activities can be carried out smoothly, although with various limitations, all of that can be seen in several achievements which have been achieved by the ranks of Indonesia National Army (TNI).

This was conveyed by the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto in the handover of the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) and the signing and handover of the Minutes of the Chairman of the Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation, who took place at the AD Headquarters, Jakarta, Thursday 30 November.

Furthermore, the TNI Commander said, at this time the focus of the TNI's task was the problem in Papua, natural disasters and election democratic parties. "My vision is the TNI Prima, I will realize a professional TNI, I have conveyed this for well equipt, well train then well paid, so that it can carry out the main tasks well," he said.

Associated with the Papua problem, General TNI Agus emphasized to prioritize the local wisdom of the community and then take a soft power approach. "According to me, fit and proper test last, so use smart power and soft power first, we will go ahead of territorial operations, supported by intelligence operations and troop combat operations," he explained.

On the occasion also, General TNI Agus wanted to express hopes that under the leadership of the TNI General Maruli Simanjuntak, could realize the Mission of the Army of the Army. "In dealing with complex dynamics, so that the realization of the operational readiness of the Army, we hope that every time the troops are ready for operation," he concluded.

After the submission of the minutes of the handover of positions within the National Army (TNI AD) the handover of the Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation was also held which is a series of agenda for the change of officials of the Foundation Builder. Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation has so far supported the welfare of the Army extended family, in the social, religious and educational fields.
