A Travel Car Coal Truck Collision On The Cipularang Toll Road, 2 Died, 4 Injured

JABAR - At least two people died and four others were injured in the aftermath of a travel accident that hit a coal transport truck at KM 75 of the Cipularang Purwakarta Toll Road, West Java.

Head of PJR Cipularang Toll Road, IPDA Triyunadi said the accident occurred when the D-7337-AI travel car nopol drove on the Cipularang Toll Road from Jakarta to Bandung.

When crossing KM 75, it was suspected that the travel car driver was sleepy, which caused the vehicle to lose control and hit the coal truck number B-9050-ZJ in front of him.

After crashing into the truck, the travel mission car was crushed, caught and dragged up to 100 meters.

Based on an Antara report, two victims died at the scene named Aip Sarip Hidayat (62), a resident of Gunungjajar Village, Cikunir Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency; and Isoh Sopartini (60), a resident of Singasari Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency.

Meanwhile, four other people were injured, namely Haris (54), a resident of Panyeredan Village, Margajaya Village, Mangunreja District, Tasikmalaya Regency and Ii Tri Arisulistio (54) a resident of Sindangsari Village, Sukarasa Village, Sukarame District, Tasikmalaya Regency.

Furthermore, Surahman (43), a resident of Babakan Peteuy Village, Purwarahayu Village, Taraju District, Tasikmalaya Regency, and Melisa Trisana Handayani (19) a resident of Golacir Gunung Village, Cilampung Hilir Village, Padadakembang District, Tasikmalaya Regency.

The two victims who died and four injured have been taken to Abdul Radjak Hospital, Purwakarta Regency, for treatment.
