Bogor Hujan Deras Ciliwung Meluap, Beberapa Pintu Air Di Depok Dan Jakarta Siaga

The overflow of the Ciliwung River in Bogor is in the Jakarta Flood Alert 3 (VOI) position.

The heavy rain that flushed the Bogor area and its surroundings, Wednesday, November 29, caused the Ciliwung River to overflow and several floodgates in Bogor and Jakarta to be on standby.

Heavy rains flushed evenly around 16.00 and until now, at 22.00 WIB it was still ongoing with light intensity.

Based on data from Katulampa Water Gate, the water level (TMA) of Ciliwung began to rise at 19.30 with 130 centimeters or in Alert 3 status and at 20.10 it rose again 160 centimeters or in Alert 2 position.

After 30 minutes, TMA in Katulampa fell 130 centimeters (Alert 3) at 21.00, 120 centimeters (Alert 3), and at 22.00 a.m. TMA was at 80 centimeters or on standby 4.

Meanwhile, several floodgates at 22.00 experienced an increase in Depok Water Gate 230 centimeters (Alert 3), Manggarai 610 centimeters (Alert 4), and Karet Water Gate 250 centimeters (Alert 4).

Head of Katulampa Dam Andi Sudirman said the increase in the flow of the Ciliwung River was quite drastic in tens of minutes.

He said, on Wednesday afternoon, the Ciliwung TMA at the Katulampa Dam was still in a normal state of TMA 50 cm (normal)

Andi estimates that the Ciliwung TMA will still rise, considering that the rainfall is still high upstream of Ciliwung in Puncak, Cisarua.

"It is estimated that around 10 to 12 hours, the Ciliwung flow will arrive downstream in Jakarta and its surroundings," said Andi.

Likewise, the Cileungsi and Cikeas Rivers leading to the Bekasi River are still in normal condition. Based on data from the Cikeas Cileungsi River Care Community (KP2C) reported by the upstream TMA of Cileungsi 15 cm, upstream of Cikeas 75 cm, and TMA meeting two rivers in Bojongkulur, Gunung Putri 200 cm.

For this reason, Andi appealed to the people along the banks and downstream of the Ciliwung river in the Jakarta area and the Bekasi area to remain vigilant.
