AHY Affirms Democrats Ready To Campaign With Prabowo-Gibran

Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said his party was ready to campaign with the presidential-vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"The campaign with a candidate pair will certainly be scheduled. When I consolidated Prabowo's victory in Madiun on November 20, I conveyed it," AHY was quoted as saying by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 28.

He also understands that Prabowo Subianto's presidential candidate is very busy and his agenda is very busy.

"However, we are very happy if we can synergize the timing of his campaign with the agenda of the Democratic Party that carries him. It is also hoped that this can build not only togetherness, but a double chance to win both the presidential and legislative elections," said AHY.

He revealed that he had prepared a campaign plan based on regional mapping so that Democrats could win in elections and return to government.

"I certainly can't talk about this in its entirety because it's part of the strategy too," he said.

What is clear is that the Democrats have conducted a survey. "We have actual data where it is roughly a strong point, as well as a weak point. We must fight for this area, which we think has the potential to fill the chair," he said.
