Floods Inundate The Semarang Kaligawe Pantura Line

The rain that flushed the city of Semarang caused the north coast on Jalan Kaligawe which connects the capital city of Central Java and Demak Regency to be flooded.

The Head of the Genuk Police, Kompol Ris Andrian, said the worst point of the flood was around the road in front of the Kubro Mosque.

According to him, the accumulation of vehicles occurred due to concerns about being trapped by the relatively high flood.

Only large vehicles dare to pass on flooded roads

Reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 28, the Kaligawe Road section around Terboyo Terminal can still be passed even though it is also inundated.

Semarang Police Traffic Head AKBP Yunaldi said traffic engineering was carried out to help road users not to be trapped by floods.

According to him, motorists from the direction of Demak who will go to Semarang City are advised to turn through Mranggen.

"If those who have already entered the Pantura can go through Wolter Monginsidi Street," said Yunaldi.
