Muzani: Political Party Transparency Is Important Because It Prints National Leaders

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Gerindra DPP Ahmad Muzani said the transparency of political parties (political parties) as public institutions is very important for the community because political parties are places to produce generations of future leaders of the nation.

This was conveyed by Muzani after attending the monitoring and evaluation (monev) event organized by the Public Information Commission (KIP), in the Kemayoran area, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 28.

"The Gerinda Party considers that political parties are political institutions whose transparency is needed by the community. Because this institution is a producing institution to produce public leaders, including the president, governor and members of the Indonesian House of Representatives," said Muzani, quoted by ANTARA.

Therefore, Muzani said that policy and financial transparency is needed in political parties.

"Starting from the policy or the finances, we feel that this is something important. We feel that accountability from a political party often gets feedback that is beneficial for the political party itself," said Muzani.

According to Muzani, this event is important for political parties for the public interest because it can accommodate various inputs in providing online and offline public information.

"We get two complaints about public interests here, that's why we provide services to public policies. There are two online offline, online we provide a lot of indirect, offline services directly," said Muzani.
